November 7, 2023 Annual Meeting was held at Crave in Minneapolis in the LaSalle Room featuring Paul Marquart, the Commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Revenue, presenting on the budget, the past, present and future.
May 9, 2023 Luncheon held via Zoom with a presentation by Ben Malin, the Vice President and Assistant Director of the Research Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Ben discussed monetary policy and the economic outlook. Click here for slides of the presentation.

November 16, 2022 Annual Meeting was held at the North End Event Center at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds featuring Jerry Hammer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Fair, presenting on what it is like to lead an organization such as the Great Minnesota Get Together. Joe Bagnoli, the legislative liaison/representative for the Fair also gave a legislative wrap up and a recap of the election.

March 16, 2022 Luncheon held via Zoom with a presentation by Emily Brock, Director of GFOA’s Federal Liaison Center. Emily discussed new initiatives regarding municipal securities in Washington D.C.

November 18, 2020 Annual Meeting was held via WebEx Webinar featuring a presentation by Larry Jacobs, Ph.D. on his views on the 2020 Election.
May 20, 2020 Luncheon held via WebEx Webinar with a presentation by Dimitri Delis, Ph.D. regarding Monetary Policy and its Impact on the COVID-19 Infected Markets.
February 19, 2020 Luncheon held at the Grand Hotel located in Minneapolis with a presentation by Professor Timothy J. Kehoe regarding what happened in the European bond markets in 2010-2013, and could it happen in the United States.

November 13, 2019 Annual Meeting was held at the Allianz Field located in Saint Paul, which included a tour and was followed by a reception in the Upper 90 Club.
October 7, 2019 Luncheon to be held at Radisson Blu located in Minneapolis with a presentation by Senator Ann Rest and Representative Greg Davids regarding their views on public finance, TIF, general tax policy and a look into the 2020 legislative session.

February 5, 2019 Luncheon held at the Union Bar & Grill rooftop located in Minneapolis with a presentation by Doug Anderson, Minnesota PERA and Scott Nees, S&P Global Ratings regarding how PERA is performing and the impact of MN municipal credit ratings.

November 7, 2018 Annual Meeting was held in the Underground Dining Room of Hell’s Kitchen located in Minneapolis with a presentation by Jen Hassemer, Assistant Commissioner, Debt Management Division of Minnesota Management and Budget discussing the unique aspects of issuing municipal debt on behalf of the state and the work done in regards to capital projects outside of a bond sale.

September 6, 2018 Luncheon held in the Event Center located in the Lumber Exchange Building located in Minneapolis with a presentation by Commissioner Myron Frans, Minnesota Management and Budget regarding a general update on the State of Minnesota, the results/impact on the 2018 legislative session and insight on the 2019 session.
